New EMHS Mission Statement

At the March 28, 2022 Governing Council meeting, a new mission statement for the school was approved. After multiple stakeholders, including students, alumni, parents, community members, teachers, and staff were consulted, the following statement was adopted:

A safe, innovative environment, EMHS engages a diverse community of learners through transformative experiences and creative problem-solving to shape forward-thinking leaders.

The school's new mission will inform the program and planning of all school aspects in the coming years. We are excited to have an informative and aspirational mission that solidifies our school's role as education leaders in the state and nation.
