EMHS Shines in State Results

On September 1, results from the Spring 2022 state summative results were released. The goal of the Spring Assessments is to establish a proficiency baseline following the COVID years. There are two assessments used at the 11th grade level to measure proficiency: SAT and NM-ASR (Assessment of Science Readiness).

The results of the statewide assessment demonstrated EMHS’ exemplary work in all subject areas. Below are some comparative results:

ELA (English-Language Arts) (SAT) State: 33% APS District: 39.9% National: 52% EMHS: 72.8%

Math (SAT) State: 16% APS District: 22% National: 30% EMHS: 55.5%

Science (NM-ASR) State: 33% APS District: 34.1% EMHS: 67.4%

EMHS is incredibly excited to see the success of our mission and values demonstrated in these high proficiency test scores.

A safe, innovative environment, EMHS engages a diverse community of learners through transformative experiences and creative problem solving to shape forward-thinking leaders.
